Punta Cana: Pirate Boat Trip and Snorkeling Tour

Sail out from the Punta Cana docks on this pirate-themed adventure. Join a scavenger hunt for buried treasure that will have you sailing past a colorful coral reef, swimming with rays and on to an island surrounded by sharks.

Start by boarding the ‘Hispaniola’ and meeting Captain Jack Blackhand and his crew, whose treasure you’ll be helping to hunt. After some training and an introduction to the ship, you’ll be handed your snorkeling gear and set sail for the coral reef, your first stop on the treasure hunt.

Once you arrive, you’ll swim out into the pristine water over the reef. Search for signs of the treasure amongst the coral formations and clouds of colorful fish. Back on board, you can enjoy fresh fruit and a drink as the ship sets sail for Shark Island. As its name suggests, you’ll see sharks and rays in the waters below you as you approach the island. Before you can land, a rival pirate crew will arrive and a final sword fight will break out as the two crews battle over the treasure.

The ‘Hispaniola’ will make its way back to Punta Cana, with one more stop for you to snorkel up close to the sharks and interact with the rays. Before you reach land, celebrate a successful treasure hunt with the pirates and learn about their history in the Caribbean over a drink.
